* Building Electrical systems should be inspected by a licensed, insured, electrician every 3 to 5 years. Preventative Maintenance should include checking switchgear, panel boards, including connections, in addition to cleaning and tightening electrical connections. It is important to note that arcing failures will occur where connections have been loosened as a result of thermal cycling.
* Maintaining your parking lot is more than just filling cracks and painting lines. Surfaces in parking garages should be cleaned at least twice a year, with coating replacement every 10 years. Power washing is an affordable, easy way to protect the structure and delay repair projects. Pavements on flat lots should be crack-filled and be seal-coated on a regular maintenance schedule. Additionally, mill and overlay pavements should be serviced every 20 years.
